Candy 30 ml shortfill Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist — Asuncionjouza
Candy in Asunción: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
Candy in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: candy in Asunción works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy 30 ml shortfill really costs in Asunción
Candy in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested candy in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options. Shipping of nicotine to Asunción runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is candy legal to sell in Paraguay?
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
