Blackcurrant RDA Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Blackcurrant in Asunción: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A blackcurrant RDA from the budget options in Asunción costs about Gs3.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant RDA really costs in Asunción
Blackcurrant in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested blackcurrant in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 5–10 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
