Blackcurrant pod kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the guide shortlist — Asuncionjouza
Blackcurrant in Asunción: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
We run blackcurrant the same way in Asunción: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs1.67 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant pod kit really costs in Asunción
A blackcurrant pod kit from the starter options in Asunción costs about Gs1.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Gs31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs1.67 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
